Building a Shared Society in a Sustainable Democracy

From January 29 until January 31, 2018, our partner Citizens' Accord Forum held an international round table conference in Jerusalem.

With our partner Citizens' Accord Forum we held a three day international conference, during which we discussed how to build a shared society, which is inclusive of all its ethnical, national, religious, secular, liberal and non-liberal groups, while preserving democracy and its principles.
Taking part in the conference were 34 participants from Israel, Germany, the USA, Italy and Ghana, from the academic, political and religious sectors. Over the three days, the participants explored together the challenges of working in a polarized society and tried to find a comprehensive discussion on how to assume joint responsibility for processes of change within a democratic context.
