Young Leadership Promoting Change

A two-day workshop was given by our partner Shatil - An Initiative of the New Israel Fund, for our "Young Leadership Promoting Change" project, in the Municipal arena. During the workshop participants simulated elections and practiced participatory democracy. Each group created a list of candidates, formulated content, goals and objectives of their defined campaign. 
On May 13, 2018 the candidates took part in a public debate for their "election", which was held in front of an "electorate" of over 120 people. This was a great opportunity for the seminar participants to put into practice the values and democratic principles that they have learned in an "almost real" campaigning and election situation.
